In keeping with her New Year’s resolution to make healthier food choices, our Savvy Organic Shopper went to the grocery store in search of green tea. At Hannaford’s in Brattleboro, VT, she found organic green tea priced at $2.89 for a box of 40 bags; the same quantity of conventional tea bags was $3.59. So, for 20 percent less per box, she was able to enjoy organic tea rich in metabolism-boosting and cancer-fighting antioxidants without worrying about it containing harmful chemicals. Drink up: it’s good for the body and the budget!
