Our Savvy Organic Shopper recently went to Publix in Jacksonville, FL to pick up a quick dinner for her kids. While there, she found an organic pizza on sale for only $3.99; non-organic pizzas were priced at $5.99 or more. She grabbed the organic one knowing it would it would save her money and enable her to serve up a meal made without the use of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. The combination was a winning one: her kids were happy with her dinner selection, and she felt good knowing that she’d made a healthy choice.
