More than 1,000 people showed up at the fifth annual Organic Okanagan Festival on Sunday, and going green was on the top of everyone's mind.
Organizer Wendy Wright says the high turn-out is proof organic living is becoming a more mainstream idea.
“It’s obviously becoming more top of mind”, Wright said. “We all have an impact. Let's lessen our footprint."
Eco-friendly companies showcased organic fruits, wines and products, like shirts made from non-traditional materials.
