This recipe is one of my favorites. It is perfect for kids or adults, breakfast, lunch or a snack. You can make a week's worth at a time and they assemble, store and travel easily. It is a hand-held, on-the-go wrap with a wonderful combination of healthy, energy-for-life ingredients.
1 organic sprouted grain tortilla
1 Tbsp. organic peanut butter, plain or crunchy
2 cups low fat, sugar-free granola
8 oz organic blueberry yogurt or soy yogurt (or flavor of your choice)
2 Tbsp. honey
1 medium or large organic banana
Mix together the granola, yogurt, honey and banana.
Spread the peanut butter onto the tortilla and then add the granola mix.
Roll up and wrap in cling wrap.
The amount it makes depends on how thick you like your wrap.
Store wraps in the fridge and grab and go each day. You can cut in half for young children. It is a huge hit with everyone who has tried it. It also gives you the best type of energy and curbs that snack hunger. It is my breakfast before I go off to make organic and eco-friendly pet products!
